The Gunpowder Irish Gin (SRP $37.99) Slow distilled by hand in medieval copper pot stills at The Shed Distillery, this flagship creation of the curious mind, combines the 8 pot still and 4 vapour infused botanicals collected on PJ’s journey from China back to Drumshanbo with the fresh citrus, and the ever intriguing Chinese gunpowder tea.

DRUMSHANBO CALLING

-45ml/1.5 oz Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
-20ml/0.75 oz Dry Vermouth
-20ml/0.75 oz Lemon Juice
-20ml/0.75 oz Raspberry Syrup
-Soda Water
-Red grapefruit and mint for garnish

Method: Fill a highball glass with ice. In a shaker, combine gin, lemon juice, vermouth, and raspberry syrup. Shake well and strain into the glass over the ice. Top with soda water and gently stir. Garnish with red grapefruit and mint.

Drumshanbo Tawny Port Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey (SRP: $79.99) is a 7-year-old Irish Whiskey that has been triple distilled with the finest malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley, and Irish Barra oats. It is then carefully matured in Tawny Port casks, enhancing its rich and complex character. The Shed recommends enjoying Drumshanbo Tawny Port Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey neat or on the rocks.

Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Irish Vodka (SRP: $26.99) is a distinctive and artisanal spirit from The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, Ireland, born from founder PJ Rigney’s quest to craft “nature’s purest” vodka by marrying traditional Irish distilling with unique botanicals. It is slow-distilled using Irish grain spirit alongside wild Irish nettle and the fruit of the African Sausage Tree (Kigelia africana), resulting in a remarkably smooth and refined profile with lightly fruity and herbaceous character. On the nose, it offers subtle fruit and herbal freshness, while the palate delivers a clean, pure taste with gentle herbal and citrus undertones, making it an intriguing and elegant choice for sipping neat or elevating premium cocktails.

Sausage Tree Martini

Ingredients:

-60ml/2 oz Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Pure Irish Vodka
-15ml/0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
-Lemon twist for garnish

Method: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add Vodka and dry vermouth. Stir well until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

The Muff Irish Vodka (SRP: $34.99) is a premium potato-based vodka with a clean, crisp flavor profile achieved through rigorous distillation and meticulous filtration, resulting in a smooth, well-balanced spirit ideal for sipping neat or mixing into cocktails (ABV 40%). The Muff Irish Gin (SRP: $34.99) showcases vibrant character and innovation, crafted from high-quality potatoes and infused overnight with botanicals including mandarin, juniper berries, citrus peel, elderflower, and rosemary, along with a touch of Champagne extract for subtle effervescence and a complex, well-balanced finish (ABV 40%). Rounding out the lineup, The Muff Irish Whiskey (SRP: $34.99) is a unique peated expression made from a five-part blend of Irish malt and grain whiskeys, delivering layered flavor and depth across the nose, palate, and finish (ABV 43%).

Bold & Beautiful Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

-1 oz Muff Liquor Co. Whiskey (smooth, smoky, and ready to impress)
-2 dashes of orange bitters (a little zing to spice things up)
-¼ oz simple syrup (just enough sweetness to keep things balanced)
-1 large, glorious ice cube (because size does matter)
-Orange peel (a twist of citrus sophistication)

Method: Start with a rocks glass—this whiskey deserves a proper stage. Place your large ice cube in the glass like it’s the star of the show. Pour in the Muff Liquor Co. Whiskey with all the confidence of a cocktail connoisseur. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and ¼ oz of simple syrup. Stir slowly, letting the flavors mingle like old friends catching up. Finish with a flourish—express the orange peel over the drink to release its fragrant oils, then slide it in for that extra touch of elegance.
