The sky mellows in the heat.
Faint shadows in shades of violet
Clouds passing in the softest of tones
About to disappear before the circles
Of day leave.
Almost a veil of silk remains
Like orbs of light
Between the sandy edges of water.
Small birds with yellow feathers soar
Where words fly like wings.
