The air is cool and spring announces its day.
Sun is high and permeates sparkles moving briskly
Like a canopy of stars forming shapes.
I think of yellow and deep alizarins painted golden.
The sky is soft and devoid of grayness
Enclosing clouds
As seeds scatter in places unknown,
Bright and shinning,
And deep pinks and light greens emerge.
Gardens will wait their turn
As planters venture outdoors.
Trees show their buds when the time emerges
As shadows of wings flutter and fly
In seasonal change.
Poem about Spring titled “Seasonal Change” and artwork called “Think Pink,” by Marsha Solomon.
