Alongside memories of past and present
Singing to the spring wind
Green fields widen for miles
Where you can’t see the ending,
As flowers multiply in pots of gold
The trees flow in many fruits
And create a covering of growth.
Yellow light filters through the leaves
Like the sun shimmering and shining.
Lawns smooth as cream
Where purple violets bunch up unexpectantly
In visionary wonder.
Winding roads contain baskets of flowers
Beside orange trees and turquoise houses.
Thick and sturdy are the forever woods
As planting fields hold new bundles of expansion
Bistros hold spinning wheels of tissue thin hues
Churches and barns are dazzled behind a field of stones
Where white fences of various shapes and sizes appear.
Cycle along the flowering foliage as a halo
Above the journey in a day.
