Pizza Festival 2018: From Naples to New York

What better way to celebrate Columbus Day Weekend than by focusing on pizza. The first annual New York Pizza Festival hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District showcases the talents of more than 20 pizza makers from establishments in the U.S. and, of course, Naples, Italy. The two-day event, Saturday, October 6 and Sunday October 7, is expected to draw more than 20,000 people strolling along Crescent Avenue in The Bronx, sampling pizzas of all shapes, thickness, and with a variety of toppings. Pizzarias from major U.S. cities will occupy stands, including those from Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Dallas, and many more. There’s also the opportunity to watch chefs mix the flour, roll out the dough, and bake them in wood-fired or brick ovens. (The ovens themselves are a sight to behold, colorful large behemoths spitting flames.) The event is sure to grow in size an popularity, based on the enthusiasm exhibited on dozens of smiling, tomato-stained faces. If you are used to dining on fast food or quick bake pizzas, fuhgeddaboudit! Come and enjoy the real thing.

Christian Weight Loss Programs: How Faith-Based Plans Help You Stop Starting Over

Most people who struggle with their weight are not short on information. They can name the foods that help and the ones that don’t. The gap is not knowledge. It’s what happens at 9 p.m. after a hard day, when the pantry starts talking. That gap is exactly what Christian weight loss programs try to close. Instead of handing you another set of rules, they build eating and movement habits on top of prayer, Scripture,

The Hardest Part of Giving a Ring Is Usually Not Choosing the Ring

A gift ring can feel wonderfully personal until the size box appears on the product page. Many people then make the same costly leap: they choose a size from a photograph, a vague memory, or a ring borrowed from a different finger and assume a resize will solve everything later. It might. It might also change the design, create a return problem or turn what was meant to be an easy surprise into a difficult

It should. In the Phoenix East Valley, a roof isn’t just shelter, it’s the single hardest-working
