This year, the Macy’s fireworks promise to dazzle. Through their “Celebrations Start at Macy’s” events, 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the retailer’s awe-inspiring pyrotechnic display. Macy’s fireworks have expanded to the lower East River in the Seaport District, the lower Hudson River in collaboration with Jersey City and the Brooklyn Bridge. The Cloud One Wine Bar & Lounge in the FiDi is hosting a pre-fireworks party set above Lower Manhattan, complete with an outdoor terrace and live music. Located on the sixth floor of The Cloud One Hotel New York–Downtown, the Wine Bar & Lounge will welcome guests from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning with a toast and a complimentary glass of sparkling Prosecco. Guests can proceed to explore a wine selection curated by award-winning sommelier Michael Guillaudeu of Eleven Madison Park, as well as specialty Fourth of July-inspired cocktails, select beers, and a variety of small bites. When the fireworks begin, guests can either relax in the lounge’s stylish seating nooks and watch the show live on television or head to nearby viewing points along the East and Hudson Rivers, both located within a 5 to 15-minute walk of The Cloud One Hotel.
