Kids’ Night on Broadway Returns on February 24

Great time to introduce a child to live theater during Kids' Night on Broadway!

Years ago, my children and I always looked forward to a winter treat, Kids’ Night on Broadway and it’s a pleasure to share the details about the 2026 event happening on February 24. This year, the program by The Broadway League is presented by The New York Times. All details can be found on this website:  Home – Kids’ Night on Broadway

There’s no better way to introduce youngsters to the joy and magic of live theater than a trip to the Great White Way to see a top show. Young people, ages 18 and under, can attend a participating show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Tickets are on sale now for shows that include The Outsiders, Stanger Things, Wicked, Alladin, & Juliet, Chicago, MJ The Musical, The Great Gatsby, and more. It’s a good idea to visit the program’s website soon as some shows are already selling out!

There’s more good news. When you are in the Times Square neighborhood, you can visit the Museum of Broadway located at 145 West 45th Street. Save 50% on admission to the museum on February 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the last entry time at 2:30 p.m. At the museum you can have fun doing Broadway games, trivia, and interactive experiences for kids of all ages. It’s a fun spot for the whole family!

Restaurants in the Theater District are offering a meal deal on Kids’ Night on Broadway that shouldn’t be missed at a wonderful discount. Kids 18 and under can enjoy a free meal with a purchase of an adult entree. Restaurants making this offer before the show include Carmine’s, Carnegie Diner & Cafe, Bar Mexicana, Virgil’s Real BBQ, Hard Rock Cafe, Le Rivage, Applebees and others.

Like me, you will find that Kids’ Night on Broadway is a great memory maker.  Enjoy!
