The excitement never ends in Times Square and now there’s a new reason to visit. We planned a fun evening at the recently opened live-action experiences in the neighborhood, The Escape Game and the Great Big Game Show. Located at the iconic Brill Building on Broadway between 49th and 50th Streets, it’s a destination for families, date night, friends’ outings, team building, and singles.
Spanning 4,700 square feet, The Escape Game features six multi-room adventures that include The Heist, Prison Break, The Depths, Cosmic Crisis, Legend of the Yeti, and Ruins: Forbidden Treasure. Three of the experiences, Cosmic Crisis, Legend of the Yeti, and Ruins: Forbidden Treasure are firsts for New York City. Each themed room has clever challenges with varying levels of difficulty. Designed with cinematic sets and intricate puzzles, each 60-minute escape game drops players into a fully immersive world where every clue counts. The entire venue accommodates up to 48 players at once. My husband and I participated with other players in the Cosmic Crisis escape game and very much enjoyed being part of a team. We will surely be back with friends and family to conquer another escape!

You’ll love participating on one of two teams. With new challenges added regularly, every visit offers a fresh, authentic experience that leaves players feeling like game show legends. And there’s an enthusiastic host leading it all. Our team was not the eventual winners, but a good time was had by all. You don’t want to miss this great time right in the showbiz center of the city. Be sure to capture all the fun to share on social media.
