Poet’s Corner – Transparent Swirls

The other night, Marsha Solomon saw an amazing sky with lots of colorful swirls. She was inspired to write a poem and create artwork for all of us to enjoy that moment.

A veil of silk

In light pinkish orange

Intertwines in transparent swirls

Across the sky.

In fine circles smooth as glass

A moon tucked between clouds

As the rain holds lines,

As a drapery of words,

Unending in rhyme and rhythm.

The poem, “Transparent Swirls,” and the artwork, “Swirls Through the Sky,” by Marsha Solomon.
