INTER in SoHo -The Dazzling Interactive Art Space to Unleash Your Imagination 

There is only one INTER! Located on Canal Street in SoHo, the tech-enabled, interactive art experience combines futuristic and generative outposts for guests to push the boundaries of art, self-discovery, and self-expression. My husband and I are senior citizens and we were totally fascinated and engaged. Angel, one of the team members at INTER told us that his three-year old niece loved her visit and he has observed how people of all ages have been enthralled by the venue. It will appeal to both New Yorkers and guests of the city. We think it’s a perfect date night spot, too!

INTER is very easy to reach by major subway lines. Timed entries are available Monday through Thursday in the afternoon and evening. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you can visit them from the morning to the evening. Guests should plan to stay for a full hour. 

The venue has two floors with over 10 exhibits that creatively use light, sound and video projections. It is visually stunning at every turn, especially when you put on your 3-D glasses. INTER has partnered with engineers, technical experts, artists, and visionaries to create the spaces that invite you to become curious, imaginative, and explore new worlds. One of our favorites is the floor-to-ceiling mirrored kaleidoscope chambers. Many of the experiences at INTER bring you in touch with the natural world to encourage a true sense of relaxation.

The brand new installation, the INTERnet has just debuted. Teaming up with The Treenet Collective, known for their innovative and intricate woven installations, The INTERnet features over 80,000 feet of rope hand woven together to create a vortex web where guests can jump, climb, explore, and even kick back to relax. The 375 square foot exhibit comfortably accommodates up to 15 people at a time. 

Have your cameras ready. Your time at INTER is full of moments to fill your social media feeds. INTER is a one-of-a-kind experience that can only be found in NYC. Plan a visit when you are headed downtown. Gather your group and enjoy!
