Valentine’s Day – Your Dining Destinations in NYC – Indulge and Enjoy!

Top chefs from all around the city are getting your Valentine’s Day meals ready with creative specialties. We have rounded up a selection of 15 restaurants with an array of cuisine styles that are wonderful destinations whether you plan to dine with a special someone, your family or your besties.

The Parliament (Midtown East) The recently opened Modern American restaurant at The Benjamin Hotel is named after a group of owls in homage to the owls depicted on the building’s landmarked edifice. The restaurant will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a thoughtfully curated four-course pre-fixe menu for $150/pp prepared by the restaurant’s Executive Chef Rakmin Lee with accompanying, optional wine pairing curated by Sommelier Nicolas Prieto for an additional $45. The meal starts with Mini Panzanella on the Shell followed by Sweet Corn Agnolotti with Mascarpone, Micro Heart on Fire and Parmigiano. For a main, guests will receive Aged Wagyu Striploin served with Sun-dried Tomato & Mashed Potato, Grilled Asparagus, Stone Grinded Charred Negi & Wasabi Puree. For your sweetheart, dessert is a Heart Shaped Mousse Cake with a scoop of either gelato or sorbet paired with a Mini Espresso Martini.

PUBLIC New York (Lower East Side) Come cozy up with your special someone at the iconic rooftop igloos at PUBLIC.  Adorned with candles, a fire pit, and plush fur blankets, each igloo boasts 360 degree views of the New York City skyline, perfect for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day date. The igloos serve a refined, romantic menu of warming bites including chocolate and cheese fondues, lamb shank, pan-seared branzino, bruleed cheesecake, and more alongside wintery cocktails and spiked hot chocolate. Igloos are available to book from Sunday – Thursday $150 per person and Friday – Saturday $200 per person throughout the winter season. 

Olio e Piu (Bryant Park and Greenwich Village) This Valentine’s Day it’s the place to be to indulge in a romantic dinner with a specially curated menu, starting with Carne Alla Tartara, featuring beef tartare, homemade vegetable giardiniera, and lemon aioli ($35). Follow with Trofiette Al Pesto e Stracciatella, a delicate combination of basil pesto, burrata stracciatella, and toasted almonds ($38), and savor Filetto, Gorgonzola e Fichi, a tender beef filet with figs, gorgonzola sauce, and thyme ($49). Finish your evening with Amore, a luscious Valrhona milk chocolate mousse with raspberry and speculoos crumble. Celebrate love with exceptional flavors and the cozy, intimate ambiance of Olio e Piu.

GITANO NYC (Seaport District) The restaurant offers a transportive waterfront escape for an unforgettable night of dining and drinks. From acclaimed hospitality group GRUPO GITANO, the destination is known for its dramatic indoor–outdoor space with 30-foot ceilings, lush jungle décor, and NYC’s largest disco ball, channeling the spirit of Tulum with a New York edge. Hand-crafted Zapote wood tables, sweeping views of the East River and Brooklyn Bridge, bold modern Mexican dishes like Hamachi Tostadas and Duck Huarache, and mezcal-forward cocktails create a vibrant, romantic setting perfect for celebrating the occasion.

The Mark Restaurant (Upper East Side) The Mark Restaurant at The Mark Hotel invites you and your loved one to an unforgettable dining experience. From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., savor a specially curated three-course menu designed to celebrate romance. Begin with refined starters such as crispy salmon sushi or Petrossian Caviar JG Select, followed by exquisite entrées including baked lobster in the shell or fresh angel hair pasta with sweet onion glaze, crackling quinoa, and black truffle. End the evening with decadent desserts like a citrus pavlova or a chocolate and passion fruit heart duo. Set within a luxurious and romantic atmosphere, the experience is elevated by exceptional service and the finest ingredients. House of Domes (South Village) For downtown diners, House of Domes offers a charming Valentine’s Day of Tuscan-Italian cuisine. Highlights include Salumi e Formaggi for Two, chef’s selection of imported cheeses, cured meats, and bruschetta tomato; Ravioli di Burrata al Tartufo, burrata cheese, truffle sauce, and shaved black truffle; and Filetto di Manzo al Pepe Verde, 10 oz pan-seared filet mignon, green peppercorn sauce, carrots, and roasted potatoes.

Sushi Beauu (Midtown) Located inside the Empire State Building, Sushi Beauu welcomes Valentine’s Day guests to its dedicated omakase counter for an approachably priced Seasonal Omakase experience at $140 a person. The menu includes three appetizers, 11 nigiri, two rolls, miso soup, and dessert. Signature offerings include torched Barracuda, finished with a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt; a warm Egg Custard with mochi, eel, and mushrooms, topped with ikura and green onion; and Imo Yokan, a traditional Japanese sweet potato dessert. Valentine’s Day reservations include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or sparkling sake.  

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés (NoMad) Bazaar Meat is José Andrés’ theatrical take on the modern steakhouse – where live fire, tableside preparation, and dramatic plating turn dinner into a performance. The atmosphere is moody and intentionally indulgent, making it a perfect setting for a romantic evening out. Guests can dine à la carte or opt for José’s Ultimate Tasting Menu ($225 / person), an immersive, multi-course experience showcasing the restaurant’s most iconic dishes. Menu highlights include The Jamón Experience and José’s Taco. Guests can also enjoy Tableside Martini Service. 

Tavern on the Green (Midtown) The restaurant offers an iconic backdrop for couples seeking a luxurious, intimate evening. Candlelit tables, sweeping park views, and refined architecture make it a cinematic setting for love stories both new and long-standing. This Valentine’s Day, the restaurant will feature a refined, indulgent menu highlighting luxe ingredients and classic techniques, including dishes like roasted Maine lobster salad, seared foie gras with passionfruit vinaigrette, and caramelized diver sea scallops. Desserts lean romantic and decadent, with options such as a raspberry Meyer lemon tart and a dark chocolate banana lava cake to close out the evening. 

Peasant (NoLita) In its romantic candlelit dining room, Peasant is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a four-course dinner drawn from its à la carte menu, allowing guests to curate their own prix fixe menu with their favorite dishes. Menu highlights include Octopus with hot chili and breadcrumbs; bucatini carbonara; and Snowdance Farm rotisserie chicken with caper and shallot butter. To make the evening even more memorable, the restaurant will be offering wine pairings and specials throughout the night. The price is $125 per person.

Kellogg’s Diner (Brooklyn) To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Kellogg’s Diner will be offering a weekend-long selection of specials for brunch and dinner. Brunch specials are available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and include Lox + Latkes with sour cream, chives and two fried eggs; Crab + Avocado Omelet with Monterrey jack cheese, parmesan cheese, sour cream and chives; Apple Pie French Toast; and Banana + Bacon Pancakes. Dinner specials are available from 5-10 p.m. and include Arancini with marinara and parmesan; Roasted Beet + Blood Orange Salad with feta, pistachios, pickled fennel and champagne vinaigrette; Crab + Calabrian Chili Pasta with fresh rigatoni, pecorino, basil and cherry tomato; Steak Diane for two with mushroom pan sauce, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus; and a Horchata Creme Brûlée for dessert.

Bar Kabawa (East Village) Bar Kabawa will be offering their classic menu, spotlighting daiquiris and wine, including their Daiquiri Kabawa with a choice of rum, key lime juice and organic cane sugar served on snow ice; Bay Leaf Daiquiri with Chairman’s Reserve White Rum and nitro-muddled bay leaf; complemented by a raw bar and West Indies patties from Chef Paul Carmichael. 

Cafe Susanne (Brooklyn) Cafe Susanne will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with its classic evening menu, featuring light cocktail snacks such as Salted Marcona Almonds, Assorted Olives and Barbecued Dipsy Doodles and a selection of house caviar service such as Smoked Trout Roe, Baerii Sturgeon Caviar and Osetra Sturgeon Caviar, all eco-certified and sustainably sourced for Cafe Susanne by Tsar Nicolai Caviar.

Romer Hell’s Kitchen (Hell’s Kitchen) It is the perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day with the special person in your life. A true neighborhood gem and an escape from Times Square, the hotel invites couples to slow down and savor the moment.
