Gifts for Tech-Obsessed Girls

The following curated article is provided by our advertisers. If you’re a tech-obsessed girl, or you know one, you’re in luck. Today there are more women-specific tech products on the market than ever before, and many double as the perfect gift. Let’s take a look at some of your options.

Fitness Trackers

Fitness trackers have come a long way in the last couple of years. Whereas before manufacturers were struggling to fit all the components into a small space, they’ve mostly mastered that particular problem and can now focus on what matters most: style.

Fitbit has done an excellent job of this, with its colored range of fitness trackers. The trackers allow you to monitor things like heart rate, calorie consumption, and sleep patterns. You’ll need to spend a day or two wearing them as the device calibrates to your particular biology. But once the initial setup is done, you’re ready to go.

Touch Gloves

Nothing is more annoying than standing in freezing weather wearing gloves while at the same time needing to use your phone. Women are faced with a dismal choice: either take off your gloves and risk front-bite or leave your friends wondering where you are, who you’re with, and what you’re doing.

Now though, Canada Goose has come up a solution: gloves that work with phones. Miraculous! The gloves have unique fabric which transmits the electrical signals from your fingers, activating the phone’s display. Incredibly, they work.

A New SIM

If you take a look at the  best SIM only deals, you’ll notice something: they’re much better than they used to be. Many people now buy their phones outright, instead of paying through costly monthly contracts, so if you know someone’s who has just purchased a new handset, then a new SIM only deal might be just what they need.

Smart Water Bottles

Everything is becoming smart these days: thermostats, fridges, kettles, and now, apparently, water bottles.

What are the benefits of smart water bottles for technology-obsessed women? If you peruse any beauty blog on the internet, you’ll soon find an article extolling the virtues of remaining hydrated. Without proper hydration, the story goes, you’ll shrivel up like a prune and lose your good looks.

Here’s where a smart water bottle can help. Instead of waiting until you’re dehydrated, the bottle sends a notification to your phone reminding you that it’s time to have your next sip of water. Granted, smart water bottles aren’t for everyone, but if there’s someone you know who struggles to drink enough water throughout the day, then this could be the perfect product.

Waterproof Kindle

There’s nothing like lying on an inflatable in the pool, relaxing and reading a good book. That is until somebody decides that it would be hilarious to tip you into the water. That’s never a pleasant experience, but with a waterproof Kindle, it could be a less expensive one.

Amazon has started making Kindles which it claims can be fully submerged in water – no problem. So next time, you or your pals can enjoy reading in the pool without worrying about wet pages or damaged electronics.

Considering Ice Baths for Anxiety? A Cautious, Compassionate Overview

Anxiety can make almost any promise of relief feel worth looking into. When stress sits in your chest, your thoughts race, or your body feels stuck on high alert, it makes sense to wonder whether something intense and physical might interrupt that cycle. Still, the research is not strong enough to say
